Owners and Operators, Morse Alpha Expeditions
Teresa and Ben Carey own and operate Morse Alpha Expeditions, a coastal and offshore sail-training program based in Maine that sails the Western Atlantic offering comprehensive and personalized training expeditions. Teresa and Ben have been sailing yachts for many years and thousands of miles. They both lived aboard and sailed their boats solo for years before they met and got married. But their sailing experience also includes a wide variety of commercial vessels ranging from tall ships and schooners to tugboats and lobster boats. They both have significant teaching experience with experiential sea programs such as Outward Bound and Sea Semester, as well as in the classroom where Teresa taught High School and College level courses. Ben holds a 200 Ton Master with a 500 Ton Mate of Towing license plus a long list of maritime certifications including safety, firefighting, medical, etc.
