This new website, americansailing.com, is the new version of asa.com. You are here because you have been invited to take a sneak peek at what is to come. Everything you loved about asa.com has been updated and moved over to americansailing.com, and this is just the start. We have grand plans to continue to improve functionality and develop exciting new content for the American Sailing community. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be ironing out the kinks in preparation to make this the new home for American Sailing.
The old website, asa.com, will be going away and will be replaced by americansailing.com. This change will be happening over the next few weeks. Don’t worry; all the links to asa.com will be automatically redirected to the equivalent content on americansailing.com. So, if you have a link on your website to the ASA 101 certification page on asa.com, it will continue to work, and anyone who clicks on it will end up on the ASA 101 certification page on americansailing.com.
The American Sailing website will continue to offer great content at no cost for those looking to learn how to sail, just as we have done for years. The new A+ subscription is an optional add-on that unlocks additional premium content. For example, the premium content will include in-depth articles on popular topics written by expert sailors in the industry. A+ has many other features, like access to our forums and games, and we’ll continue to develop more premium resources for subscribers.
We are giving all affiliates and instructors with an annual membership complimentary access to A+. Please make sure you are logged in to americansailing.com and then subscribe with the promo code AMERICANSAILINGVIP.
The traditional annual American Sailing membership, including the instructor membership, is here to stay. It will remain unchanged as an annual membership, continuing to offer access to certification history and benefits. We will continue to expand our benefits, which offer great value to sailors, helping them save hundreds of dollars on marine services, sailing apparel, sailing education, and more.
The Affiliate portal (affiliates.asa.com) and Instructor portal (portal.americansailing.com) will remain the same, and you will be able to log in using the same credentials as before.
